We highly recommend using Barnes
bullets for all of your hunting needs.

The

energy transfer and weight retention
without the mess of fragmentation

The photos above were submitted by Steve D. of Castro Valley, CA.

He recently wrote us to tell us of his experience with Barnes Bullets on his deer he took during the 2009 deer season with his Tika 30-06 rifle
loaded with Barnes Triple Shock. The picture in the middle was recovered from the deer and weighed on a scientific beam scale, the bullet
retained 99% of its original weight. The picture on the far right was taken in 2007 at Chabot range to sight in a rifle, the resulting groups with
Barnes bullets were nothing short of impressive with a 3 shot group that could be covered with a dime. In his e-mail to Bullets and Brass, LLC

Hello Dave and Adam,

A hunting friend told me of your website. I just saw the interesting photos you have on the subject of lead bullet fragmentation. I wanted to
share 2 photos from a recent hunt near my home in Castro Valley. (Mid September 2009)

As you can see, I was using Barnes bullet in my Tikka 30-06. First time for me to find a Barnes bullet in the animal as all broadside shots have
passed through on deer, pigs, elk antelope and elk. This deer was facing me. I found the copper bullet way back in the back leg, just before it
was about to leave the animal. Took it to work and weighed it on very accurate laboratory balance. 99% weight retention in the bullet.

Feel free to add either or both pictures to your site to show the BIGTIME difference between these bullets and the lead bullets you tested.

I am not associated with Barnes in any way, just a strong believer in Barnes bullets for hunting.                       -  Best regards, Steve

The .243 bullet
proved to have
excellent penetration
even on this heavy
duty animal.
