About Jessica:
Artist, Jessica Dittbenner, is veteran of the Global War on Terror with five military deployments to Iraq from 2004 to 2008 and
experience as a contractor in Afghanistan in 2011. She worked primarily in the special operations community and her art is a
reflection of her experience and mission to free the oppressed. She also supports the cause of freedom and democracy
through her projects in Thailand and Burma with the Karen Hill Tribe and Worldwide Impact Now (WIN). Her current works are on
tour with the Graffiti of War Project.
I believe there is a wide gap between the reality of our current conflicts and the perspective civilians get from the media. In my
art I try to bridge that gap. I am not done with the GWOT and I don't believe our enemies are either. Politicians can declare it
done, but it's not over for us if it's not over for them.
10% of all proceeds from prints and original work will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
