Other reasons to load: make ammo for obsolete calibers, load non-lead rounds, and competition loads.

Q: Is mixed brass safe to shoot? A: Yes, all of our brass is inspected, cleaned, and checked for damages, cracks, fatigue, and wear. We have a 7 step cleaning and inspection process that eliminates unsafe brass. Note: All brass, new or old may crack or split due to overpressure, improper loading, or poor case preparation. Be sure to follow all steps as described in the reloading manuals and always follow safety procedures (never exceed powder charges)
Q: How the heck do you get your brass so dang shiny, like gold?? A: Here at Bullets & Brass we have a special proprietary blend that allows us to shine up the brass to high luster, thus revealing any defects that may otherwise be hidden under oil and dirt. This blend is our secret mix which we developed after much R&D in-house. We offer our Midas Touch polishing media on our Tumblers page.
Q: Why are some of your lead bullets moly coated? A: We've found that our moly coated bullets perform better than regular cast lead bullets for several reasons. First is that the moly coating provides superior lubrication for reduced friction. This leads to less fouling in your barrel and less smoke. Simply put, shoot more, clean less.
Q: Why can't I get powder or primers on your website? A: At this time we are not set up for shipping powders and primers with any major carriers and we have found through experience that there is little or no cost savings for our customers to order small quantities of powders or primers from us. The HazMat fee is $20 is the same whether you order 1lbs or 40lbs. We have restricted these sales to local residents only who can do a face to face pick-up to avoid shipping fees. Once we have built up enough inventory we will make these items available for shipping via ground only.
